Zombies vs. Dinos: Part I
by: Alex M. and Angelo
“Ohh, it’s Saturday,” calmly announced Diplodocus. “Let’s kill some zombies!” shouted Gallimimus. Dramatic video game battle music played as the teams prepared for battle.
“AEEERRRRR!” the zombies moaned as they grinned. “Let’s fight!!!” yelled the Zuniceratopses. I think you should know that when Gallimimus runs, the rest of the world moves in slow motion. The zombies started the fight with the swing of a club at Gallimimus. As Gallimimus is able to react super quickly, he ran and ducked under the club and announced, “Limbo time!” Antarctosaurus swung his tail, which knocked off one of the zombies heads. Torvosaurus made an amazing kick which knocked a zombie into its main separate body parts. One of the Zuniceratopses rammed a zombie with his horns which impaled Errr, a corporal zombie. The zombies began to start upping their game by jumping on Diplodocus, but fortunately Diplodocus was able to shake them off and trample them.

With only five zombies remaining, the herd began to grin. The Zuniceratopses double-rammed a zombie. Antarctosaurus and Diplodocus trampled two more. Torvosaurus chomped off one’s head. Finally Gallimimus stomped on the zombie leader, Argh. Believing they won and had done a great job, the herd went back to the swamp to party.
Unbeknown to the herd, Argh’s head, neck, and body survived and inched away, fortelling a sequel. OOOOO, spooky. But no, it turns out that sending the zombies back in time is the reason they awakened and attacked the humans in 2014.
