The Code to the Pyramid of Giza

On a typical summer morning, Albert Stinine, a genius mathematician, stood right in front of his giant glass window admiring the orangey-yellow sun slowly rising above the horizon. Herbert, Albert’s light brown dog, ran up to Albert and made himself comfortable, plotting himself at Albert’s legs. Suddenly, there was a buzzing noise coming from the door. It was Laroux. Laroux is a doctor, and Albert’s best friend. Little did Albert know that Laroux is actually an evil ruler who had trapped many people in an anti-aging pyramid. Everything Albert solved or discovered, Laroux would be the first to know.
Albert rushed to the door and opened it. “Anything new you’d like to tell me?” Laroux questioned.
“I solved a new math question. The answer is pretty complicated. Would you like to see? I saved it on my computer,” Albert said proudly. Laroux accepted and the two headed to Albert’s lab. As Albert opened the document Laroux’s eyes widened. “They say that no one is able to answer the question since it’s just too complex,” boasted Albert. Laroux was the person that created the question; the answer is actually the code that could release all the people trapped in his anti-aging pyramid. “Isn’t it cool, Laroux!?” Let me search it up,” Albert excitedly said. “X = 54 x 23/81 = Y (7) + A (31) mc2. Sounds weird right?”
“Yeah...” Laroux replied nervously. After Albert punched in the formula, pictures of a silver pyramid appeared instead. Laroux could feel the red strands of hair on his head start to rise. He tried playing it off cool. “Wow... This must be the coolest thing you’ve discovered since you got Herbert to talk,” he said, with his voice shaky.
“I know right? Herbert! Get in here!” Albert called. Herbert ran in. Not only was he a talking dog, but he was pretty smart, like his owner. “Why is it that imagines of a pyramid pop up and not the formula I typed?” Asked Albert confused.
“Well...” Herbert began, as he studied the page. He continued, “Maybe the answer has something to do with the pyramid. We could go check it out; the pyramid is located in Giza. I’ve always wanted to visit there.”
“Maybe we should. Laroux, would you like to join us?” Albert asked. Oh no... They’re onto me, Laroux thought. Maybe if I play along and come with them, I can secretly lead them to the wrong way. “Sure,” he agreed.
“Then it’s settled. We’re off to Giza!” Albert chanted.
The next day, Albert, Herbert, and Laroux boarded the “New York Airlines”. “Please put on your seatbelts. We will be leaving shortly. Bathrooms are on the left. Please do not raise your voice and have a great day. Thank You”, mumbled the lovely flight attendant in royal blue. “So, Herbert, what are you going to do on the plane ride?” questioned Albert.

“Well, since you asked… I am going to read the “Civil War of Titans”, a 1002 page novel. It was 2010’s best selling book”, boasted Herbert. Albert awkwardly nodded, rolled his eyes, and quietly mumbled, “And they say I’m the nerd. Have they not seen him?” Albert turned away and opened his lips saying, “How about you, Laroux?” Laroux, who was about to fall asleep, drowsily replied, “Sleep…” Albert said, feeling lonely, “Okay. I guess no one wants to hear what I want to do?” A hairy stranger turned around and creepily said, “I will listen to you.” Albert closed his eyes, as the stranger turned away, and said, “I guess I will just watch movies for 18 hours!”
