The War at the Countryside
|
In simple townhouse in Urka, lived a boy named Jessie. Jessie had curly black hair and was so poor that he only owned one pair of shorts. They were red. Although impoverished, Jessie was incredibly fit. He worked hard every day at his job and still found time to exercise. Jessie's body was lean and so muscular that he had a six pack. Jessie's father, Barney, a stout European man of thirty-four years was a curious fellow. He was born with his right eye much higher that the left one. No one knew why. Similarly, Barney also only has one set of clothes: a light blue shirt and camouflage coloured pants.
Then there was Quentin. He was the person who initiated the war. Quentin was shot in the eye once, which is why he wore eye patch on his left eye. Unlike Jessie and Barney, Quentin was quite wealthy. Today he sported a black and red velvet suit.
The entire war occurred in the pouring rain inside the confines of a yard, just over 1000 square feet. Many died and few survived.
Half way into the battle, Barney became desperate for weapons and sadly traded Jessie for a huge shipment of body armour and guns. Jessie was very sad that his father traded him for weapons.
In his new dwelling, Jessie was not free. He was owned, like an animal. To make matters worse, he was order to never leave the home because his new owner forbade it. Even if he could, he would probably get shot.
The war dragged on for what seemed like forever. With each passing day, Jessie was more confused than ever. Did his father love him? Was he trying to protect him? Did his father even miss him? Jessie prayed that his father would not to get killed.
From the window of his new home, Jessie could see the carnage of war. Then, from out of nowhere, he caught a glimpse of his father running back to the family home. Jessie quickly opened the window and screamed to his father to run faster. He made it, but it was a close call.
Several nights later, when Jessie's new owner was sleeping, Jessie decided to escape. He found a trap door that led to a tunnel and crawled inside. He crawled for quite awhile. Emerging from the other side, he discovered that it led straight to his family home. His father was trying to protect him.
The next morning, Jessie and Barney gazed their eyes over the remnants of the battle scene. The war had ended and Urka had defeated Viata. The countryside of Urka the light up in the morning sun. Together, they built a park in honour of those who died in the war. They played in the park everyday. Barney promised to never trade his number one star, Jessie, again.
